Why Choose This Tour with AndeanDiscovery.pe?
The Classic Inca Trail depends almost entirely on the work of porters, and at AndeanDiscovery.pe we pay above the regulated minimum wage, provide proper mountain gear (not just blankets), and strictly respect the load-weight limit set by the Ministry of Culture. It isn't just an ethical stance — it translates into porters in better physical condition, more carefully set-up campsites, and an operation that doesn't cut costs on the people who make the trek possible. We also handle permit bookings directly and months in advance, critical on a route where daily capacity is legally capped at 500 people, staff included.
