This is a short version of the classic Inca Trail, perfect for those with limited time. Over 2 days and 1 night, the trek starts at kilometer 104 of the Inca Trail, with a 6-7 hour hike on the first day to Wiñay Wayna, a stunning archaeological site, and then to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for a first glimpse of Machu Picchu at sunset. The second day includes a full guided tour of Machu Picchu and a return to Cusco.
